Kintsugi: Healing the Broken Pieces

Day 1 March 29 &

Kintsugi Japanese art putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold.

This is a 2 day workshop.

Day 1: Participants will be getting a little education of Kintsugi and why it is important to connect it to our life. Then participants will

start creating their pottery bowl and painting it.
Day 2: Participants will take their pottery and take it outside and drop it to have the pottery shattered into pieces. Then we will use a specific glue to connect the pieces and paint gold lining. Later we will all share

on how this project made us feel and how the process went for them.
